How can I report to the police (including anonymously and to a third party)?
- In an emergency, call 999. For a non-emergency, call 101. Or visit your nearest police station.
- To report in a non-English language, you can use the Language Line interpreting service when you dial 999.
- If you are deaf, deafened, hard of hearing or have a speech impairment, a text phone is available on 18001 101.
- If the incident occurred on public transport, call 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016.
- To report any crime anonymously, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or use their online form.

- You can also report to a Third Party (this is where you give permission for information to be passed onto the police but without giving away any details which could identify you). Middlesex University, Tell Mama or Galop, for example, can all act as a third party reporters.
